Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our research peptides, ordering, and shipping.

Q: Do you offer COAs for your products?

A: Yes, Certificates of Analysis are available upon request for all products. Please contact us with your order number.

Q: What is your shipping policy?

A: We ship within the United States only. Standard shipping via DHL/USPS is a flat rate of $50. Orders over $500 qualify for free shipping.

Q: Do I need bacteriostatic water?

A: Yes, all lyophilized peptides require reconstitution with bacteriostatic water before use. We carry BAC water in our Reconstitution Supplies category.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards via Stripe, as well as other payment methods available at checkout.

Q: Are your products for human consumption?

A: No. All products sold by Amino Boost are strictly for laboratory and research purposes only. They are not intended for human consumption and have not been approved by the FDA.

Q: How do I contact Amino Boost?

A: You can reach us at aminoboostinfo@gmail.com. We typically respond within 24 hours.

Q: How should I store my peptides before reconstitution?

A: Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are best stored in a cool, dry location away from direct light and moisture. For short-term storage, a refrigerator (2–8°C) is generally suitable. For longer-term preservation, a freezer at -20°C is commonly used in research settings. Always keep vials sealed until ready for use. Specific stability characteristics vary by compound — consult available literature for compound-specific guidance.

Q: What does “lyophilized” mean and how do I reconstitute a peptide?

A: “Lyophilized” refers to a freeze-drying process used to stabilize peptides for storage and shipping. To reconstitute, bacteriostatic water is commonly used — slowly inject the desired volume down the side of the vial and allow it to dissolve gently without shaking. The appropriate volume depends on your target concentration. Always follow your research protocol and consult relevant scientific literature for guidance specific to your compound.

Q: What is peptide purity and why does it matter for research?

A: Purity refers to the percentage of the sample that consists of the intended peptide compound, as measured by HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography). Higher purity generally means fewer impurities that could interfere with research outcomes. All Amino Boost compounds are tested to a minimum of 99% purity and are LLPLC-verified. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available upon request.

Q: How long does a reconstituted peptide remain stable?

A: Once reconstituted, peptide stability varies depending on the specific compound, storage conditions, and solvent used. In general research practice, reconstituted peptides stored at 2–8°C are often used within a few weeks, while those stored at -20°C may remain stable for longer periods. Stability data is compound-specific — we recommend reviewing available peer-reviewed literature or the product COA for guidance relevant to your research.

Q: Can I order bloodwork to monitor my research panels?

A: Yes — we have partnered with Ultra Lab Tests, powered by Quest Diagnostics, to offer convenient lab testing services. Whether you want baseline panels before beginning a research protocol, mid-cycle monitoring, or post-research bloodwork, you can order directly through our partner link. Order Labs Here.

Q: Do peptides require a prescription?

A: The products offered by Amino Boost are sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes and are not intended for human use, therapeutic application, or self-administration. We are not licensed medical providers and cannot offer medical or legal advice. Regulatory requirements vary by jurisdiction. Customers are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws applicable in their location. By purchasing, you confirm you are a qualified researcher and agree to our Terms & Conditions.
